Things I wish I knew before I was 30

things i wish i knew before i was 30

As children, we are taught life’s basics, and they are undoubtedly important. However, there are other essential life lessons that we may not fully grasp as children. As adults, we learn these lessons through trial and error, books, and positive influences in our lives. Once understood, these lessons can make our lives easier and even change the trajectory of our lives. So in this post, I aim to share some things I wish I knew before I was 30. In my opinion, these are fundamental lessons. These insights have had a profound impact on my journey, guiding me with greater wisdom and clarity. I hope it can do the same for you. Here goes…

  1. Embrace your courage: Recognize that you are the hero of your story, and no one else will rescue you from life’s challenges. The moment you realize your inner strength and take charge of your journey, courage will flourish within you.

  1. Feel the fear and do it anyway. True courage lies in facing our fears and taking action despite them because we believe in something greater than our fear. It’s about making a conscious decision to prioritize our goals and values. Courageous queens acknowledge their fears but choose to move forward with determination and conviction, knowing that what we seek is worth the risk.

  1. Take action towards your goals. When we remain inactive and avoid confronting our challenges or pursuing our goals, doubt, and fear tend to take root, holding us back from progress. On the other hand, when we take action, no matter how small, we build confidence in our abilities and develop the courage to face uncertainties. Each step we take reinforces our belief in ourselves, propelling us forward with a sense of purpose and determination. By embracing action, we break free from the constraints of doubt and fear, opening doors to new possibilities and growth.
