The law of polarity states that everything has two poles. There is love and hate, good and evil, attraction and disconnection, a North Pole and the South Pole, the negative and positive terminals on a battery. There is an opposite of everything in the universe. For example:
- Rich and poor.
- Day and night.
- Moon and sun.
- Active with passive.
- Male and female.
- Success and Failure.
- Yin and Yang.
- Boy and girl.
- Good and bad.
- North and south.
- Up and Down.
- East and west.
- Right and left.
- Disease and Health.
- Light and dark.
But it is because of the law of polarity that we fully enjoy life and appreciate what is good in the world.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
newton's 3rd law of motion
Newton’s Third Law of Motion perfectly summarizes the law of polarity.
How to use the law of polarity
As a whole, we’re a combination of many different energies. As a result, some energy may predominate in our character, while others may only come to the surface on rare occasions. We embody polarity in all its fullness. In contrast to dualism, in polarity, each pole contains the essence of the other.
With the law of polarity, we have a strong weapon for shifting our mindsets: we may choose to focus on the positive instead of the negative.
If you are in a negative rut, it can be difficult to see that there is another perspective. If you’re lonely, dissatisfied at your job, or otherwise dissatisfied with your life, you’re likely to dwell on these negative emotions. As a result of these negative ideas, you’re more likely to experience unfavorable events in your life. But since you understand the law of polarity, you have the power to end this seemingly never-ending cycle by focusing on the opposite.
